Terms of service
These terms cover your use of shelfwin.co ("Shelfwin"), operated from Ontario, Canada. Using the site means you accept them. They're short on purpose.
The service
Shelfwin scans publicly available pages of ecommerce stores and scores how readable they are to AI shopping agents. It's free. Reports are generated on demand from whatever the scanned store publicly serves at that moment.
Fair use
- Scan stores you run, compete with, or have a legitimate interest in. These are the same pages any crawler can read.
- Don't hammer the service with automated scan volume, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to attack a store. We rate-limit and may block abusive use.
- Store owners can opt out of scanning. See the privacy policy.
Honest limits
- Scores are diagnostics, not guarantees. A scan reflects what our checks could read at scan time. Stores change, crawlers differ, and AI platforms change how they read stores. Don't make irreversible business decisions on a score alone.
- The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site; our total liability is capped at CAD $100 (it's a free tool).
- Third-party names and stores shown in reports belong to their owners; a scan says nothing about them except what their public pages serve.
Founding-partner program
Applying via the partners page creates no obligation on either side. Any paid engagement gets its own simple written agreement before money moves.
