Privacy policy

Shelfwin ("we", "us") is an agent-readiness scanner for ecommerce stores, operated from Ontario, Canada. This policy says plainly what we collect, what we don't, and what choices you have. Questions: ahmedtariqcs@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Email addresses you give us. If you unlock a fix plan or apply for the founding-partner program, we store the email you submit, together with the store URL you entered and the scan score. We use it to send you what you asked for and, at most, occasional product updates. Unsubscribe is one reply ("stop") away.
• Scan inputs. The store URLs you type are processed to run the scan and appear in our server logs (below). Reports are generated on the fly; we do not build profiles of the people running scans.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs), which we use for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and debugging.

What we don't collect

• No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no cookies for tracking. The only thing stored in your browser is a local flag remembering that you already unlocked a report (localStorage, never sent to us).
• No accounts, no passwords, no payment details anywhere on this site today.
• Scans read publicly available pages only of the stores you enter. We don't log into anything, and we don't retain store catalog data after the report is rendered. The exception is a report we send directly to a store's owner: we save that scorecard so the link keeps showing the same result.

Where data lives

Lead submissions are stored with Vercel (our hosting and storage provider, servers primarily in the United States). We don't sell or rent any of it, to anyone, ever. The only third parties who touch data are our infrastructure providers, bound by their own terms.

Scanning someone's store

Anyone can scan any publicly reachable store, the same way any search engine or AI crawler can read it. If you operate a store and want it excluded from Shelfwin scans, email us and we'll block your domain. Details about our crawler: about ShelfwinBot.

Your choices

• Ask what we hold about your email, or ask us to delete it. One email, and we'll confirm within 7 days.
• Opt your store out of scanning, or ask us to remove a saved report, at the same address.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it. This page is the single source of truth.
